Commemorative Service for the New Glarus Swiss settlers of 1845

A time honored tradition is to gather in fellowship to celebrate the arrival of the Swiss settlers in 1845. Join us in celebration and commemoration of their strength and determination to make a new life in America. This ecumenical service is held in the replica of the New Glarus ‘ log church on the museum grounds. Pastor Petra Strieff will lead the service. Old hymns will be played on the antique pump organ. The New Glarus Jodlerklub will perform. Free admission for all in attendance.
