The New Glarus Public Library and the New Glarus Historical Society are sponsoring a presentation by Ms. Apps-Bodilly on her book, “Seeds in Soil”. This talk and slideshow will engage kids and grown-ups, both in learning the value of gardening, but also in the understanding of how working together strengthens family and community bonds.

Susan is a retired educator and writer. She taught elementary and middle school students for 34 years. She holds a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction. When she is not reading or writing, Susan enjoys spending time with her family, traveling to visit her children, hiking at the family cabin, kayaking, and trying new recipes.

Admission to this event is free. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held at the New Glarus Village Hall.
