Come to the Annual Harvest Fest on Sunday, October 13th, between 10:00 am - 4:00 pm where you can watch demonstrations of many craftspeople who make traditional products, most of which the original settlers would have made. Regular or past exhibitors include a blacksmith, broom making, wood carver and soap maker, cheese making, weavers and wool spinners, bee keepers, a Civil War military exhibitor, sauerkraut maker. Kids have games to play and can take a turn at shucking and grinding corn, making rope. Many traditional musicians and artisans performing throughout the day!
Food and beverages are offered for sale, and there’s the annual Bake Sale by the members of the Historical Society.
